An exhibition of work by 20 early-career artists, working across a wide variety of media, from paintings and installations to soft sculptures and digital animations. The show is curated by Sally Gorham.
By bringing together a selected mix of colourful eclectic works, the exhibition aims to convey a sense of the dynamism and diversity of the contemporary art world. It highlights the way in which each emerging artist is developing their own identity, though a process of exploration and experimentation.
The works on display demonstrate how each artist plays with their own materials and methods to explore the relationship between themselves, their work and their environment. The energetic and playful interactions between the works mirror the ongoing creative dialogue between the artists, many of whom studied together at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
Although the individual artists have gone on to participate in many small group and solo shows they value the opportunity to come together as a larger group to show their work.
